Introducing Sui Support on Para

Para is now live on Sui. Teams building on Sui can create wallets and sign transactions through Para’s SDK, which is already powering over 15M+ users across hundreds of customers.

Sui has become one of the largest venues for moving dollars onchain. The network handles roughly billions in stablecoin transfer volume, launched USDsui, the network's native digital dollar, shipped gasless stablecoin transfers, and confidential transfers. Sui’s payment stack has matured quickly and the apps built on top of it need wallets that mainstream users can navigate.

Why Sui and Why Now

Sui was designed for the kind of throughput consumer payments require. Its object-centric data model lets independent transactions execute in parallel instead of queuing behind each other, enabling simple transfers to finalize in under a second even when the network is busy.

Move gives developers a type system where assets behave like assets, so a token cannot be accidentally duplicated or dropped. Sponsored transactions are also a first class primitive so that an application can cover gas for its users without asking them to hold the token at all.

Sui's ecosystem has been building toward real-world payments, including work with partners like Revolut and Paga across African markets. Sui support on Para means fintechs building in the ecosystem can create wallets for their users in the background, with the login experience their users already expect from a banking application.

What Sui Support Includes

1. Native Sui key generation and signing. Para's MPC system generates Sui-compatible Ed25519 keys through distributed key generation. Para’s infrastructure is fully non-custodial.
2. One integration, every chain. Sui sits next to other chain ecosystems that Para supports, under a single SDK and one set of access controls. Adding a chain is a configuration change, instead of a migration to a different SDK.
3. Multisig integration. Create a native Sui multisig, sign as a Para member, and combine signatures. Ideal for teams building in DeFi or asset management on Sui.
4. Web, mobile, and server signing. Ship Sui wallets through React, Rest API or mobile SDKs with multiple factors built in like passkeys, passwords, and PINs.
5. Universal wallets that carry over. A user who onboarded in another Para-integrated app arrives with the wallet they already have.
