Introducing One Click Login: Instant Wallets, Zero Setup

One Click Login is the latest step in Para’s mission to remove friction from Web3 onboarding. It builds on Progressive Onboarding, giving developers maximum flexibility in designing onboarding experiences that meet their users where they are.

Guest Mode was part one of our Progressive Onboarding initiative, allowing users tap “Continue as Guest” to instantly receive a working wallet with no sign-up or seed phrase. Users could begin transacting right away and later upgrade in one click (via passkey or social login) to a permanent Para wallet. The result was faster user “aha” moments and less drop-off for developers.

Now, One Click Login takes the next leap forward:

The Next Step in Progressive Onboarding

With One Click Onboarding, new users can create a wallet with a single tap. As soon as they log in to your app and opt to proceed, a non-custodial wallet is generated for them on the fly.

The wallet is theirs from the start, complete with a persistent address they can use across apps and chains. By eliminating these steps, One Click Login ensures users reach the action immediately, experiencing your product without any crypto learning curve.

For users, it means “Sign in within seconds” and start playing the game, using the app, or exploring the platform with zero onboarding friction.

How One Click Login Works (No Password Needed)

One Click Login uses Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and Para’s distributed MPC to enable instant, passwordless wallet creation.

TEEs can generate and handle secrets in isolation from the rest of the system, creating a secure place to run operations without exposing sensitive data.

Private keys remain protected in hardware-isolated environments, and transactions still require user confirmation. Existing users with wallets can choose to keep using them or switch to One Click Login.

Lightning-Fast Performance: Wallets in Under 1s

One Click Login is built for speed. Wallet creation completes in just a few seconds. Transaction signing is even faster, averaging 100–200 ms per signature.

Optional Passkeys: Flexibility for Users and Devs

With One Click Login, onboarding becomes accessible across different user demographics, ensuring the highest number of users are able to experience an app immediately.

At the same time, One Click Login is designed to be compatible with existing security preferences. If a developer wants to enforce adding a passkey or add a password at some point in the user journey, they can.

Our One Click flow gives developers fine-grained control over when to introduce additional auth, and gives users control to secure their wallet further on their own schedule.

For example, developers can choose to prompt users to set up a passkey after they’ve completed certain actions or reached a certain balance, similar to how Guest Mode allows upgrading at a convenient point.

Progressive security flows naturally with a user journey. Users begin with frictionless access and then gradually add security layers when needed. Early experience remains smooth, while long-term accounts remain secure.

One Click Login is Available Now

We’re excited to get One Click Login into your hands. Starting today, this feature is available for all projects using Para.

In the Para Developer Portal, builders can decide which security settings work best for their users

Early testers have already been putting One Click Login through its paces, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The Ethereum Foundation tested One Click Login at scale during Devconnect 2025, where thousands of participants seamlessly generated wallets with just an email login.

Para: Powering Embedded Web3 Login

One Click Login reinforces Para’s role as the infrastructure layer for embedded wallet onboarding and UX in web3 apps. Progressive onboarding makes Web3 feel native in any app, whether you’re building a fintech product, a social network, or an ecosystem.

Guest Mode and One Click Login both push toward the same goal: removing friction from the first interaction so apps can scale with confidence.

Para powers the onboarding and UX layer with fully white-labeled, non-custodial wallets that work with email, passkey, or social login. Learn more about integrating Para into your app.
